    OUR FEES
    UNCONTESTED PROBATE

    The most frequent type of Probate work we handle is the Uncontested Probate, where an individual has passed away leaving a Will that is not disputed.

    Standard Charges for an Uncontested Probate Start from £1200 plus VAT or a Percentage between 1.5% to 3.5% of the Estate's gross value, varying with the complexity of the case.
    CONTESTED PROBATE

    The fee for Contested Probate is based on the amount of time spent on the case. The details of our Hourly rates are as follows:

    Solicitor (more than 3 years of experience) £200 plus VAT
    Solicitor (less than 3 years of experience) £160 plus VAT
    Trainee Solicitor £120 plus VAT
    FEE MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE FOLLOWING FACTORS:
    The size of the Estate & Assets
    Whether the Will is valid
    The complexity of the Will
    Involvement of any Trust
    DISBURSEMENTS
    Disbursements are payments that we make to third parties on your behalf.
    These are separate payments for which the estate is liable in addition to our costs as described in the above sections.
    the following disbursements may be payable, besides our professional fees:
    Probate Fees £155 plus £1.50 pence per copy of the Grant
    Valuation Fees(such as valuation of the the property, chattels etc.)
    Office copies - £3 per office copy but vary depending on the number of properties
    Land Registry Fees - as per the value of the property
    Statutory notices - notice adverts in The London Gazette, Local News Papers etc
